All students are hypnotised as part of their training and are given ample opportunity during class to practice techniques. Students often feel a certain lack of confidence at the start of their training, so we include a session of confidence building hypnosis on the first day of training to ensure you are in the right frame of mind to get the best out of this excellent course.
At the end of this course you will be invited to sit the Foundation Course examination. The exam lasts for one hour and upon successful completion you will be eligible to join the Practitioner Diploma Course in Clinical Hypnotherapy should you decide to take your training to a professional level.
Foundation Course Costs
The cost of the Foundation Course is €900. This is the total cost of all training materials, hypnotherapy CD’s, lectures and certification. Whilst the Foundation Course will provide you with key skills in hypnotism and basic hypnotherapy it will not qualify you to practice as a hypnotherapist. To practice as a professional hypnotherapist it is essential that you take the Practitioners Diploma Course in Clinical Hypnotherapy.
Likewise it is essential that you have taken the Foundation Course before embarking on the Practitioner Diploma Course. The Foundation Course teaches you how to hypnotise. Once these skills have been mastered they will be built upon on the Practitioner Diploma Course but will not be repeated.

Train to be a Professional Hypnotherapist
The Practitioner Diploma Course in Clinical Hypnotherapy is the professional training necessary to start a career as a certified, fully trained and insured hypnotherapist. The Practitioner Diploma Course teaches you all of the advanced specialist techniques you need to ensure you can tackle a broad range of problems and challenges successfully.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Students must have completed the Foundation Course in Hypnotherapy. The Foundation Course teaches you how to hypnotise and put someone in a hypnotic state. Once these skills have been mastered they will be built upon on the Practitioner Diploma Course but will not be repeated.
As you progress through the course you will learn about Directive, Permissive and Ericksonian Hypnosis, Advanced Language Patterns, Principles of Suggestion, Different Kinds of Suggestion, History Taking, Diagnostic Pre-Trance Work, Formulating Therapeutic Objectives and Goals, Client Assessment, Instant Inductions, Deepening and Strengthening through Testing, Hypnotic Phenomenon, Post Hypnotic Suggestion and Fractionation techniques, Trance Ratification and Change Ratification, Symptomatic Hypnotherapy, Supportive Hypnotherapy, Dynamic and Strategic Hypnotherapy and Self-Hypnosis, Hypnotic Pendulum Work, Body Syndromes, Transference, Trance Logic, Hypno-Analysis, Regression, Parts Therapy, NLP, Advanced Hypnotherapeutic Intervention, Behavioural and Cognitive psychology and much more.

They help you to move seamlessly from student to professional with confidence and a strong conviction that hypnosis really does work. The Case Studies are our way of helping you take that leap forward into professional hypnotherapy. Case Studies ensure you have the support and mentoring you need. But we don’t just stop there, regular TroubleShooting Workshops are held to ensure you have continued support as your career expands. Case Studies are a valuable part of your training and offer many advantages.
In addition, two TroubleShooting® Workshops are run for our graduates after completion of the course to help them overcome practical problems. These workshops provide a platform to share success, network with established hypnotherapists and refresh skills as your career takes off. These workshops are provided as part of your training and are free of charge.
Once you have completed your training and examination, you will be awarded with your Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. You will then be eligible for professional indemnity insurance and excellent cover is available from two major insurance schemes from the Irish Hypnotherapy Association. You will also be eligible to join the National Hypnotherapy Register. Thereafter, you are ready to start seeing clients and to recoup the investment you have made in your training, yourself and your future.
