AFFILIATION
The Hypnosis Academy of Ireland is affiliated with the Irish Hypnotherapy Association, Ireland’s leading Hypnotherapy and NLP association. We are also affiliated with UKCHO, (The UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations (www.ukcho.co.uk) and the London School of Hypnosis whose Director Dr J Cymrank is our UK Chief Experience Officer. The Hypnosis Academy also complies with the Department of Health and Children’s Regulation of Complimentary Therapies here in Ireland.
In most instances, classes are taken by Senior Tutor Susan Wallace NGH, RTS, Ac Hyp. Dip Hyp. MNLP, MIHA., or another IHA approved lecturer. Wallace is a member of the UK Guild of Hypnotist Examiners, the International Association of Academic Hypnotists, the National Guild of Hypnotists plus many other international associations. Wallace started her training at the NGH in New Hampshire and received training in the US from some greats as Boyne, Mongan, Gibbons, Bolduc, Mottin, Vitale, Baranowski, Kein, Howell , Hughes and Francis. She also spent eight years at The Farago Clinic in London and has led training programmes in the USA, UK and India. Susan has also served her time in field and experimental hypnosis and was part of the Institute of Positive Transformation in the UK.

She has worked on such prestigious programmes such as the Friendly Spider Programme at London Zoo, Sell More Cars, Fearless Flying and the Stop Smoking Now group hypnosis programmes at the IPT. Susan was also resident hypnotherapist on Midlands Radio 3 and this year alone her work has been featured on Tipp FM, Newstalk Radio, The Star, The Sun, Laois Voice, Connaught Tribune, The Therapeutic Specialist and Northside and Southside People. Susan is an avid writer and her work is published regularly in professional periodicals and general press publications. She is currently compiling the Professional Hypnotists Handbook, due for release in February 2009. Wallace also runs a busy hypnotherapy practice and many group seminars at home and abroad.

In the US, our members can join the National Guild of Hypnotists, which is the oldest running hypnotherapy organisation in the world and provide a wealth of resource materials and an excellent Annual Hypnotists Convention (www.ngh.net).
Meanwhile, here at home we are fully supportive of the Guidelines laid down by the Department of Health and Children and the Regulation of Complementary Therapists.
Our members can also join the Association of Registered Complementary Health Therapist of Ireland (ARCHTI).
There are many more organisations worldwide that our graduates can join but are too many to mention. As a professional training academy, we keep our focus on those organisations that have the power to act appropriately on our behalf when it comes to the licensing and registration of complementary therapists here at home and in the UK.
Regarding insurance, we have excellent and competitive insurance cover with Holistic Insurance in the UK with whom we run block schemes for all our student, graduates and members of the IHA.
